We participated in the American Clean Power on the Hill advocacy visits to Congress, Senators and Staffers this week. The group made up ~200 people from OEMs, owners, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders. While there was no specific ask we did discuss permit reform. MotorDoc’s primary discussion was around IBR (Inverter Based Resources – wind, solar, storage) being the fastest method of grid voltage control, especially following the conclusions of the Iberian Peninsula root-cause-analysis from ENTSO-e.
