Following a windpower powertrain meeting at Argonne National Labs with the National Renewable Energy Labs (NREL), OEMs, data scientists, end users, AI/ML/SCADA software designers and engineers, etc. a few things related to CBM/PdM of systems came to light. This spurred this podcast in which we discuss the concerns from cybersecurity to energy/emissions to marketing/sales/consulting misleading statements which all culminate in a digital transformation success rate ranging from 4% to 11% and of that companies ‘living with’ poor ROI and substandard expectations. In the next podcast we will discuss how to avoid these issues by understanding what you should expect in order to increase your potential success rate.
