Podcast 47 Performing Predictive RUL Example with ChatGPT Strengths and Weaknesses

A demonstration of using ChatGPT and the NASA jet engine database (https://data.nasa.gov/Aerospace/CMAPSS-Jet-Engine-Simulated-Data/ff5v-kuh6/about_data) to develop a RUL and anomaly detection method. While the attempt fails due to problems with ChatGPT that day, the steps and processes associated with proper development of AI/ML tools is discussed. Note: lagging issue continues, as well. The purpose is to help the viewer understand the capabilities and weaknesses of LLM AI models when considering the use of these systems for IIoT and related commercial/industrial applications.
